How do I find the right tyre size?

It's printed on the sidewall of your current tyres — for example 205/55R16: the width, the profile (sidewall height as a percentage of the width), then the rim size. It's also on the placard inside the driver's door. You can search by size, or by your vehicle's make, model and year.

Do I need an account to order?

No — you can check out as a guest. An account lets you see your orders and bookings in one place, and check out faster next time. If you've ordered as a guest before, create an account with the same email and those orders will appear.

Are your prices final?

Yes. Prices on the site are in Australian dollars and include GST. When you choose fitting, the fitting price for your vehicle type is added in the cart before you pay — there are no surprises at the counter.

Do you deliver to my home?

No — every order is fitted at, or picked up from, one of our 7 stores across VIC & NSW. That way your tyres are fitted and balanced properly, and you can see them before they go on.

What if my tyres aren't in stock at my store?

You can still choose any store — our stock is shared. If your store doesn't have them on the shelf, we move them from another Nova store within 7 days, and the fitting or pick-up dates you can choose start once they've arrived. We'll contact you if anything changes.

What does fitting include?

Fitting, new valves, wheel balancing and environmentally responsible disposal of your old tyres. Wheel alignment and balance & rotation can be added in the cart.

When do I choose a fitting time?

Straight after you pay. The confirmation page shows the free times at your store for the next two weeks — pick one and it's booked. You can also choose it later from the order in your account.

How long does fitting take?

About an hour for a set of four. You're welcome to wait in store.

Can I change or cancel a booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes — up to 2 hours before your booking, from your account or the link in your confirmation email. Closer to the time, call the store or 0402 338 805.

Can I book a service or safety check without buying tyres?

Of course. Book log book and scheduled servicing, wheel alignments and free safety checks online at any store.

How can I pay?

By card online at checkout — Visa, Mastercard and American Express, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay where your device supports them.

Is paying online secure?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Card payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment provider. Your card details go straight to Stripe — Nova Tyres never sees or stores them.

Will I get a tax invoice?

Yes. Your order confirmation email is your tax invoice and shows the GST included. You can also see every order in your account.

How long will my tyres last?

Accepted Answer

Typically 40,000–80,000 km, depending on the tyre, your vehicle and how you drive. Correct pressures, regular rotation and a good alignment all help. Pop in for a free tread check at any store, any time.

When do my tyres need replacing?

Accepted Answer

The legal minimum tread depth in Australia is 1.5 mm — look for the tread wear indicators in the grooves. Replace them sooner if you see cracks, bulges, cuts or uneven wear, or if the tyres are more than about 6 years old.

Can I mix different tyre brands?

Yes, as long as the size and load rating are right, but we recommend matching pairs on each axle for even grip and wear. On all-wheel-drive vehicles, all four usually need to match — ask us.

Can I change the size of my wheels or tyres?

Often, yes — but some combinations affect your vehicle's compliance and roadworthiness. We'll advise on what fits; it's the owner's responsibility to confirm a modification is permitted with the relevant road authority.

What warranty do tyres come with?

Every tyre comes with the manufacturer's warranty against defects, the tread-life warranty stated on the product page where one applies, our workmanship warranty on fitting, and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Can I return tyres I've changed my mind about?

Accepted Answer

Unfitted tyres can be returned within 14 days of the invoice date in new condition. A restocking fee may apply, and special-order products can't be returned for change of mind. Faulty products are always covered by your consumer guarantees.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Send us your order number, the number of tyres affected, a description of the fault and clear photos. We'll reply within 5 working days and arrange an inspection if needed.
